Wreck Weekend in Dalarö

The Baltic Sea and the Stockholm archipelago are full of wrecks. Dive depth is 5-40m and there are some deeper wrecks. We tell the thrilling stories of sea battles, history, sailing routes, steam ships and sea accidents. All our wrecks are natural disaster, none are sunken on purpose. 

Diving
We plan for a variety of wrecks this weekend and steer the dive boat to a mix of historical, wooden and steel ships in both inner and outer archipelago. Wind and weather determines exact divesites, we have 50 wrecks to choose from and can dive in all wind directions.

Boat
We have comfortable diving boats that take 8-10 divers each plus our dive guides. There is space and comfort also for technical divers and underwater photographers. It´s easy to climb up with the equipment on. Take as little gear as possible on board. The boat is out at sea all day, bring gas for two dives. The gas planning is: one D12 or 2x12L  is enough for a rec dive day. Tec divers – up to you. 

Package price for 4  days is 9950 SEK and includes:
* 7 boat dives, a nightdive on arrival day followed by two dives per day 
* 3 nights, accommodation in a shared room. Check-in Thursday at 17.30, check-out Sunday after the dives 
* Food, (3 breakfast, 3 lunch, 2 dinner, snack after nightdive)
* Sheets, towels and cleaning

Gasfills are ontop and paid on site. We dive on nitrox 32% on most dives. Do you need nitrox cert, click here.

Arrival day starts with a night dive making sure your buoyancy and trim is good and that there are no leaks in gloves, gear or suit. Prepare for your trip by diving regularly and maintaining a high standard on your equipment.

Lodging & logistics
2 shared rooms, 4 beds each, 2 shared showers, laundry. Divers enjoy full service: dive shop, gear, drying rooms, charging, kitchen, gas filling/sofno, sauna, and a beer fridge (BYO alcohol).

Dive-eat-sleep-repeat. Report allergies/vegan preferences well in advance. Electric car charging is available. Carpool if possible, it helps with parking.

Logistics

Experience level: You need to be certified at least til 30m, nitrox,  experienced drysuit coldwater diver, have dived recently. Minimum 30 logged dives in cold water.

Bring: thick underwear, powerful primary light, backup light, SMB, charger for lights/cameras, swimwear for the sauna, beer/drinks, hat for the boat trip and water bottle. Drysuit gloves and 7mm hood is a needed, ample undergarment.

Recommendation: Visit VRAK – Museum of Wrecks in Stockholm before your stay during the day on the day of arrival, their exhibitions are about our wrecks https://www.vrak.se/ . The Vasa Museum is located in the same area on Djurgården https://www.vasamuseet.se/en. You will need 2 hours per museum to get a good experience.
