Tec Weekend 45m

Från: 12 700 kr

26-29 june

June, sunny and just amazing diving! We enjoy the summer and are surrounded by the green waters of the Baltic Sea. At the slightly deeper dive sites, it will still be crispy at depth.

When we see beautiful ships out at sea, we usually joke that this is what they look like before they are born, the wrecks. There are many wrecks to dive on in the Stockholm archipelago. Different fates have befallen the ships and different eras have delivered a cascade of history encapsulated beneath the surface. During the weekend we boat dive Friday-Sunday on 6 different wrecks with a maximum depth of 40-50m. We tell stories about storms, sea battles and delve into fine details that make diving unique. We do two dives a day with lunch on an archipelago island or an archipelago restaurant in between and spend the evenings at the Vrakdykarpensionatet eating good food, telling robber stories or warming up in the sauna.

Boat
We run rib boats and they take 6 tec divers plus our dive guides each. There are proper diving ladders and it is easy to climb up with the equipment on. Take as little gear as possible on board, we go out in a dry suit and put on the equipment at the dive site after the briefing. When the boat goes out, it is on the sea all day so each diver brings gas for two dives.

Package price is 9500 SEK and includes:
* Check-dive on the day of arrival from land
* 6 boat dives, two per day
* 3 nights, accommodation in a shared room. Check-in Wednesday at 13.00, check-out Saturday after the dives
* Food, (3 breakfast, 3 lunch, 3 dinner)
* Sheets, towels and final cleaning

Gasfills are ontop and paid on site. We have nitrox, air, trimix and sofnolime on site.

Weather, wind and thoughts from the captain sets the dive sites. This is a Tec Lite weekend, we plan our dives with decogas. It is possible to fill trimix for those who want. If you want to google potential wrecks for the weekend to get inspiration and read up a bit, check out Kostervraket, Gröne Jägaren, Kofotsvraket, Alice, Silverskedsvraket, Natalia and Ingrid Horn. We pick and choose among even more dive sites and we are a little secretive about some of them.

Experience level for this weekend is tec certification to equivalent depth and good routine in cold water diving and that you have dived recently in similar water. Good and powerful primary light, backup light, SMB/reel and equipment suitable for the Baltic Sea.

The boat goes out and does 2 dives with lunch on an archipelago island and we stay out on the lake all day. Bring gas for 2 dives, the dive planning is that a twinset D12 + 1-2 stage tanks is enough for 2 dives, or if you dive CCR. The first dive of the day will be deeper, the second dive will be shallower.

Arrival day starts with a check dive at our local dive site visiting an early 20th century wreck, making sure your balance is up to scratch and checking that no one has any leaks in gloves, gear or suit.
