June – Sunny Days and Exceptional Diving in the Baltic Sea

Experience incredible diving surrounded by the lush waters of the Baltic Sea. At deeper dive sites, expect crisp temperatures at depth. With each wreck, we share stories of storms, sea battles, and a cascade of history encapsulated beneath the surface.

This weekend, we’ll explore 6 different wrecks, with depths ranging from 40-50m. We do 2 dives per a day, with lunch on an island or at a local archipelago restaurant. Evenings are spent at Vrakdykarpensionatet, enjoying delicious meals, sharing stories, or relaxing in the sauna.

Package Price: 9500 SEK – Includes:

• Check-dive on arrival day (from shore)
• 6 boat dives (two per day)
• 3 nights in shared accommodation (Check-in Thursday at 15:00, check-out Sunday after the last dive)
• All meals (3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 3 dinners)
• Bed linen, towels, and final cleaning

Gas fills are additional and paid on-site. We provide nitrox, air, trimix, and Sofnolime.

Boat & Diving: We use rib boats that accommodate 6 technical divers plus our dive guides. The boats are equipped with proper diving ladders for easy access with your gear. We recommend minimal gear onboard—wear your dry suit during the boat ride and gear up at the dive site after the briefing.

The boat goes out and does 2 dives with lunch on an archipelago island and we stay out on the sea all day. Bring gas for 2 dives, the dive planning is that a twinset D12 + 1-2 stage tanks is enough for 2 dives, or if you dive CCR. The first dive of the day will be deeper, the second dive will be shallower.

Dive Sites: Explore famous wrecks like Kostervraket, Gröne Jägaren, Kofotsvraket, Alice, Silverskedsvraket, Natalia, and Ingrid Horn, plus some secret spots. Get inspired by researching these wrecks!

Experience Level:

• Tec certification for equivalent depth
• Comfortable and experienced in cold water diving
• Recent diving experience in similar conditions
• Required gear: powerful primary and backup lights, SMB/reel, and Baltic Sea-appropriate equipment
• Book in together with a divebuddy. if you come alone, contact us beforehand and we will try to team you up with someone, if you have special requests rent-a-buddy for the weekend.

Lodging & Facilities: Stay in shared rooms at Vrakdykarpensionatet, each with 4 beds and access to 2 shared showers. We offer full dive services, including a shop, drying rooms, charging stations, and gas filling. We also have a sauna and a beer fridge (BYO drinks). Breakfast and dinner are served at  Vrakdykarpensionatet, lunch is served on an island.

Schedule:

• Thursday at 15:00: Meet at Vrakdykarpensionatet
• 16:00: Check-dive at a local wreck
• Evening: Dive planning, gas fills, and dinner

What to Bring:

• Thick underwear
• Primary and backup dive lights
• SMB, reel, and chargers for lights/cameras
• Swimwear for the sauna
• Personal drinks and snacks
• Hat for the boat trip, flip flops, and water bottle

Water Temperature: Expect temperatures of 2-4°C, so dry suit gloves and a thick hood are mandatory. Electric heated vests or undergarments are recommended, but not required. It will be warmer and sunnier on land.

We recommend visiting the VRAK – Museum of Wrecks in Stockholm during your stay. Their exhibitions are dedicated to the wrecks and history of the Baltic Sea. The famous Vasa Museum is also nearby on Djurgården.
